Jessica Dunbar, MSPH
Ms. Dunbar joined Every Child Pediatrics in 2014 and is responsible for the overall management, leadership and direction of the organization, including development and execution of business strategy, Board development and relations, legal compliance, clinical programs, community relations and advocacy. Ms. Dunbar has extensive background in the health care sector including her most recent experience as Director of Eligibility for Connect for Health Colorado. In this role, she worked with the leadership team to direct the design, development and implementation of Colorado’s health insurance exchange. Prior to the Exchange, Ms. Dunbar worked as a senior research analyst at the Colorado Health Institute, a non-profit health policy research organization. In this position, she worked collaboratively with providers and researchers to build a Safety Net Indicators and Monitoring System for the state, conducted research and evaluation to support health foundations and communities as they worked to respond to pressing population health needs and was instrumental in the early development of the Colorado Regional Health Information Organization (CORHIO) that allowed health providers to exchange patient information in an efficient and safe manner. Ms. Dunbar earned her Master’s Degree in Public Health from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center and her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Religious Studies from Westmont College.
Lori Cohn, BSW, MA, CCM
Director of Integrated Services
Ms. Cohn joined Every Child Pediatrics in 2006 as a social worker and has served as a Director, managing the organization’s wraparound services to patients, since 2012. Ms. Cohn provides direct services to children and families, develops and implements programs and collaborates with community organizations to advocate for change. These efforts support the overall wellness and long-term success of children and families. She has 20 years of experience in social work, holds degrees in education and social work with specialized training in healthcare advocacy, education and leadership development. She previously served as an Early Intervention Coordinator for Early Childhood Connections, a preschool teacher in the Denver metro area and a medical social worker in New Jersey. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in social work from Ramapo College, her Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies with a focus on Early Childhood from the Morgridge College of Education at University of Denver, and is a certified Case Manager.
Director of Finance and Business Development
Mr. Eschen joined Every Child Pediatrics in 2015 and is responsible for overall financial management, accounting and business strategy. Over the past 25 years, Mr. Eschen served in a variety of financial and operational roles at Real Radiology, Olathe Community Clinic, Radiology Imaging Associates, PRO Behavioral Health, Eye Health Network and Qual-Med Plans for Health. Earlier in his career, Mr. Eschen served in financial and human resources leadership roles at Pro Behavioral Health Inc., Eye Health Network, Inc., Pueblo Bank and Trust, Inc., Qual-Med, Inc. and BetaWest Properties, Inc. His leadership experience includes directing the turnaround of a company from a $20M loss to a $4M profit in one year, and growing a commercial real estate company from no assets to over $1 billion in assets over a 5-year period. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Fort Lewis College.
Myung Oak Kim
Director of Communications and Community Partnerships
Ms. Kim joined Every Child Pediatrics in 2017 and leads the organization’s communications, marketing, fundraising and community partnership initiatives. She previously served as Chief Marketing Officer at Connect for Health Colorado, directing all branding, communications and marketing efforts during the organization’s critical early years of planning and operation. Prior to that, Ms. Kim served as Communications Manager for former Colorado Governor Bill Ritter. She also operated a communications consulting business, providing services to a variety of health care organizations, companies and government agencies. Earlier in her career, Ms. Kim worked as an award-winning newspaper reporter in Denver and Philadelphia. She serves on the Board of the Colorado Consumer Health Initiative, a statewide consumer healthcare advocacy organization. Ms. Kim earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from New York University.
Laura Luzietti, MD
Dr. Luzietti joined Every Child Pediatrics as a pediatrician in 2009, and became Medical Director in 2017. In her role as Medical Director, Dr. Luzietti is responsible for managing all aspects of the delivery of clinical services, ranging from creating clinical policies to handling provider recruitment and overseeing special programs and she continues to serve patients at the Denver office. Shortly after joining, she began serving as the Newborn Nursery Rotation Coordinator for St. Joseph Hospital Family Medicine Residents, educational coordinator for Every Child Pediatrics providers, and also served as the clinic lead in the Denver clinic. Dr. Luzietti earned her Bachelor’s Degree from University of Notre Dame and her Medical Degree and from Loyola University. She completed her residency at Loyola University.
Director of Information Technology
Hans joined Every Child Pediatrics in January of 2014 working at Centennial High School’s School Based Health Center, and in July 2015 transitioned to become the organization’s Director of Information Technology. Hans is responsible for information technology strategy, operations, projects and services that enable the mission of connecting kids to healthy lives. Hans comes from a consultancy background, previously serving healthcare, financial and media companies, defining technical and operational strategy as well as building and delivering complex mission critical information systems. Hans has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Master of Science in Telecommunications, and a Master of Science in Business Administration: Information Systems. In his spare time, Hans is involved in the Colorado music scene as a business advisor and trains perpetually for the next ski season.
Jennifer Wiman, MS, RNC-NIC
Director of Clinical Operations
Ms. Wiman joined Every Child Pediatrics in 2017 and is responsible for driving clinical improvement initiatives, integrated services and application of evidence-based practices. Ms. Wiman will also oversee the design and execution of scheduling policies, procedures and operational workflows to support the delivery of high quality and efficient clinical care. Prior to this, she worked at Children’s Hospital Colorado for 16 years. She started her time at Children’s in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit as both a staff nurse and as the Department Education Coordinator. Ms. Wiman transitioned to the Ambulatory Specialty Clinics 10 years ago where she managed many medical and surgical specialty clinics throughout her time. She was also an integral team member in the opening of the Multi-Disciplinary Clinics. Ms. Wiman earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Queens University and her Master’s Degree in Health Systems Leadership at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center.
Director of Human Resources
Ms. Villalobos joined Every Child Pediatrics in 2013 and cares for employees as the Director of Human Resources. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Colorado State University as well as her Master’s in Business Administration with an emphasis in Human Resources from Regis University. Throughout her career she has provided leadership and community as a member of the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM). In her free time, Marylou enjoys spending time with her two girls and her husband, painting, reading and traveling.
