As a longstanding nonprofit pediatric practice, all of us at Every Child Pediatrics are committed to delivering on our mission of providing high-quality comprehensive care to Colorado children, regardless of their insurance or ability to pay. Our medical team and support staff take extra care to do the best we can for every patient and family we see. We also listen to our patients and families about how we are doing and what we can do to improve our services. That’s why we continuously seek patient feedback and conduct satisfaction surveys. One example of this is sending a text message after every medical visit asking for patients/parents to complete a short satisfaction survey. We also seek extra information from new patients after their first visit, and invite reviews on Facebook, Google and other public platforms.
Since the beginning of the year, we’ve received nearly 1,700 patient satisfaction surveys and we are proud to report that our ratings have consistently averaged a 4.5 out of 5. Patients report that they value the doctors and medical staff and the fact that we accept Medicaid and provide a sliding scale fee for uninsured patients. The most common comment is that our medical staff truly care and provide the best care. Part of providing the best care is taking time with our patients. In our effort to treat the whole child, we take time to assess a wide range of issues and provide on-site services including behavioral health counseling, dental cleaning, connections to social services supports and emergency food. Occasionally, we hear from patients that they have to wait longer than they want because their provider is running behind schedule. We are working to balance the needs of all patients with efficient operations to run schedules on time. We read all of the comments from patients and work to address issues in a timely fashion. Our goal is to keep getting better.
