Healthy children are the foundation of a thriving community. When we invest in children and their health and well-being, we are investing in their readiness to learn in school and preparing them for economic success that can break cycles of generational poverty. Through no fault of their own 136,500 kids across Colorado experience poverty, and one in four children are considered economically disadvantaged. And right now, 74,760 children are uninsured with very limited options for their pediatric care.
For many patients who come to Every Child Pediatrics, unmet social needs—often referred to as the social determinants of health—including housing instability, food insecurity, financial hardship, and transportation barriers, are as pressing as their medical concerns.
Thanks to the generosity of our donors and community partners, Every Child Pediatrics is that provider. We ensure every child has access to comprehensive, compassionate care—regardless of their insurance status, life circumstances, or ability to pay.
