Our clinical staff includes dental hygienists who can provide most oral health and preventative care for children, all in one place. We offer dental cleanings, fluoride varnish treatments, oral hygiene education, and referrals to specialists who understand the unique needs of our patient population, including insurance and financial status.
Nutritional Guidance
Our clinical staff includes in-house nutritionists and registered dietitians who support children experiencing obesity, failure to thrive, eating disorders, allergies, chronic GI issues and other nutritional concerns. Our approach is to focus on positive eating habits over weight loss, and we operate with a culturally responsive mindset to nutrition. These services create a foundation for nutritious living by preventing chronic conditions, managing mental illnesses related to eating disorders, and encouraging children and families to adopt lifelong healthy habits.
School-Based Health Centers
In partnership with Aurora, Dolores, and Poudre School Districts and Southwest Open School, our school-based clinics offer integrated health and wellness services for K-12 students at a convenient location and at times that fit into established routines. They allow us to serve children at all developmental phases and foster healthy educational environments where children can thrive. Services include preventive care, behavioral health, nutrition and dietician, dental, contraceptives, and walk-in appointments for added convenience.
Care Navigation
Our Care Navigators provide resources beyond medical care to ensure a family has support in all areas of basic needs, from specialist referrals to food and housing assistance. Care Navigators work as part of the medical team to coordinate specialty medical care, help families apply for benefits, and connect families with community resources for housing, transportation, clothing, food, education, and other needs. We put our families at ease by tapping into the full potential of Colorado’s available resources, including: the Colorado Medicaid Office, CHP+, local food banks, job training programs, and housing support services. Health care is an intimidating world, and we take pride in navigating primary care alongside our patients and their families.
