We are excited to have 3 wonderful interns here at Every Child Pediatrics! Annaka, Linda and Jackson have been a valuable part of our team and we are grateful for all of their hard work this summer.
Annaka is a student at Wartburg College in Iowa, where she is completing a double major in Neuroscience and Physiology as well as a minor in Spanish. This summer she has been working with the Behavioral Health Team and helping with our Fore the Love of Kids Golf Tournament. Through this experience, she wants to gain a better understanding of health care while also supporting children and families. In her free time, Annaka enjoys listening to music, working out and going on unexpected adventures.
Linda is also a student at Wartburg College where she is studying biology. Linda has gained experience in many different aspects of health care through her work preparing for the golf tournament, helping providers and registering families for the patient portal. During her free time, Linda enjoys being outdoors, reading and playing with her dogs.
Jackson is completing his Medical Assistant internship at our Thornton office. He has worked in many different leadership roles such as being a camp counselor, a high school leader, a camp instructor and a teaching assistant. He is excited to bring this experience to Every Child Pediatrics as he cares for patients. Outside of work, Jackson enjoys triathlons, skiing, rock climbing, running and mountain biking.
